Cabbage has many health benefits such as being packed with antioxidants and fiber! Raw is always better but roasted cabbage is a delicious side to add to your balanced meal! Roasting it completely changes the flavor, so even if you hate raw or boiled cabbage, try this recipe!

Ingredients
1 head of purple cabbage (More or less depending on servings needed)
Olive oil
Salt
Lemon pepper
Garlic salt
Cayenne pepper
Olive oil
*You will notice, most of the time, I don't put spice measurements with my recipes. I think it's important not to get bogged down with measuring in recipes like this. My pallet might be completely different than yours and it won't effect how this cooks, like it would in baking. So, that's why I start with a little seasoning and always taste. You can add more, but you can't take away.
Directions
Preheat over to 425F
Cut cabbage in 4ths then slice into "patties"
Tip- cut across grain and with rind intact in order to keep cabbage from falling apart
Brush cabbage with olive oil and add spices
Cook 20-25 mins
Serve hot!
